Home innovations from a company that thinks outside the home.
As a global leader in innovation, GE is constantly putting its expertise to work to meet today’s environmental challenges. Among the latest examples of this commitment are Monogram® fully integrated refrigerators and dishwashers.
An expanding legacy of eco-firsts
- GE is the first appliance manufacturer to partner with the Environmental Protection Agency on its Responsible Appliance Disposal (RAD) program, which focuses on best practices for refrigeration recycling.
- GE’s new water filter recycling initiative, the first of its kind, will help significantly reduce landfill waste.
- GE has received the ENERGY STAR Award for Sustained Excellence for the sixth consecutive year.
- GE’s ecomagination initiative, launched in 2005, continues to contribute toward the betterment of society and the planet.
Choices for conserving resources
Many Monogram refrigerators, including fully integrated models, have earned the ENERGY STAR label—a distinction that’s granted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to products that use less energy, save money and help preserve the environment. Monogram fully integrated dishwashers have the highest ENERGY STAR rating available, making them an exceptionally smart choice for conserving water and electricity.
Refrigeration that’s responsible
Monogram 30" fully integrated refrigerators are the first in the U.S. to use the new R600a refrigerant, which has a lower global warming impact than common refrigerants in the industry. These refrigerators are also engineered with cyclopentane insulation, a high-performance foam material that replaces the widely used hydrofluorocarbon fillers that have been linked to global warming.
