What custom panel options are available with Monogram built-in refrigerators?
For both the built-in bottom freezer units as well as the built-in side-by-side units, you have two customization options (both supplied by your cabinetmaker):
- 1/4" framed panels for doors and grill
- 3/4" overlay panels for doors and grill
No kits are required for installation of either application. The handles for Monogram built-in refrigerators are made to accommodate both 1/4" framed and 3/4" overlay panels. Alternately, custom handles can be installed on the 3/4" overlay panels.
What is available for observation of the Sabbath?
There is a Sabbath Mode kit (ZSAB1) available for both built-in bottom freezers as well as built-in side-by-side units. Installation of this kit is included in the purchase price of this unit. When activated, the ZSAB1 kit will allow you to use your refrigerator throughout observation of the Sabbath.
What are the handle options for built-in custom-panel bottom freezers?
There are three options available with the Monogram built-in custom panel bottom freezer unit. Built-in bottom freezer handles can be adjusted for use with either 1/4" framed or 3/4" overlay panels. Or if you prefer the look of the Monogram tubular handle you can order kit ZKHCSS2. Included in the kit are handles for the fresh food door and the freezer drawer, as well as a side trim piece for the fresh food door. The third option is a custom handle, which can be installed on the 3/4" overlay panels.
If I want a dispenser in my side-by-side, but want to order a custom panel option, what are my options?
All Monogram side-by-side units are available in stainless steel or custom-panel ready, with or without a dispenser. Two dispenser collars are provided with each custom-panel model, so you will have the right size for either a 1/4" framed panel or a 3/4" overlay panel. The dispenser collars are available in white or black and are specified by model number.
The dispensers on Monogram built-in side-by-sides have a proximity sensor, which means that as you get closer to the dispenser the icons will illuminate. After 30 seconds of inactivity, the illumination of the icons will deactivate, providing a seamless appearance between the dispenser and the rest of the refrigerator — a perfect application for custom-panel refrigerators.
