Worldly Christmas
By Chef Brian

Obviously Christmas is celebrated the world over and each country has its own version of turkey, ham, fruit cake and eggnog food traditions. Over the next few weeks we will be discovering a few of those and sharing them with you.
This week we celebrate rice pudding. Many countries have this on their must-have Christmas menus. In Norway they hide an almond in the pudding with the finder presented with a special gift. In Sweden and Finland the finder will have luck the next year.
Whether you call it Arroz con leche(Spain), Рисова каша(Russia), Riz au lait(France), Tsamporado(Phillipies), M'halbi(Africa) or RisgrynsgrÖt(Sweden), rice pudding will make a fine addition to your Christmas table.
